The Second Half for Baseball

Ok, this is my first one so bear with me. With one of the best All-star games i have seen in a while, i must say that i think there will be some super games this late summer and fall. With that said i also think we may see some trades but nothing super big because those have already happened. Its kinda nice to see something happen before the all-star game, it doesnt happen very often in terms of a big trade going down before the all-star game and we had 2 pretty big one's, the Brewers getting C.C. Sabbathia, and the Cubs getting Rich Hardin and Chad Gaudin. I think the Cardinals will need to do something, in order to compete but with Carpenter and Wainwright coming back may be all we need. But it would nice to get something to take the place of Mark Mulder. I may have to do a whole blog on him cause i got my opinions on him but not now, but what im bout to do is make my predictions for the Fall Classic. Based on nothing more than how all teams played during the first half, for the National League, i freakin hate to say this, but im going with the Cubs, Im going to predict that Rich Hardin(who was aquiared from the Oakland Athletics) will only miss maybe 1 or 2 starts the second half, and Zambrano should get at least 18 wins along with Dempster, and Kerry Wood closing games, and Marmol setting him up, there staff is a cant miss. The offenese should carry them to a World Series, with Fukedome, Ramirez, Soto, and Derrek Lee the team is loaded with studs. For the American League, im going with Boston. They are just to freakin good at home, with the American League winning the All-Star game, home field advantage goes to the American League, Jon lester, Dice K, Josh Beckett, Papelbon, and sturdy bulllpen, the staff is really good, and then the offense, hahah ohh man, Ramirez, Manny that is, David Ortiz, Jacoby Ellsbury, J.D. Drew, Kevin Youkillis, and Mike Lowell. The team is good really good. So here is my winner for the 2008 Fall Classic, The Boston Red Sox will beat the Chicago Cubs 4 games to 1, lets go ahead with the MVP of the World Series, and il throw out a name, i gotta go with Manny Ramirez, he's to clutch not to be considered, so with that being said, i hope you all like my blog, and this will try to be a every night thing, stay tuned for more opinion's on todays sports issue's, thanks for the time, and remember lightning produces 1.21 jiggywatts
